Boss 302

1969 Engines:

Cougar's 302 2V standard engine for 1968 was replaced by a 250 h.p. version of the new 351 Windsor in 1969.

Big block engine choices included the (Cobra Jet) CJ 428 and the CJ 428 with Ram Air. Mercury's venerable 390 4V was also available for the last time in its illustrious career. Mustang's popular Boss 302 was added to the Cougar engine line-up on 4/17/69.
